In 2022 I designed the feature film; Chuck Chuck Baby

 

“CHUCK CHUCK BABY is a musical drama celebrating female love and friendship. It’s located in and around a chicken factory in industrial North Wales.”

 

The colour palette for the costumes was kept to a few key colours so that the characters were a beautiful contrast to the  scenery and sky of North Wales. Texture and layers gave depth to the costumes. Only Joanne had some striking pattern in her clothing, everyone else was in plain colours which gave a timeless quality to the costumes.
